Ramadan

Ramadan is the month comes once a year where people used to fast from food and drink during daylight hours and it’s a corner of the pillars of Islam and the Quran was revealed and was the beginning of Islam.
When I was started to fast from food and drink I was about 10 years, and it was hard to me to fast from food and drink because Ramadan was during school days but it was good experience that I learned patience and how to adjust myself from committing sins and use bad language.
Ramadan is a chance to associate with your neighbors by giving them food or they giving food and there is Iftar project where people are helping the poor and needy breakfast.
Ramadan has private nights it’s called the last ten days including the night of Qadr where many people come to strive to read the Koran and some of them go to Mecca to perform Umrah and pray to God to forgive them their sins after these days finish we have Eid al-Fitr that we celebrate and eating food and drink.
In conclusion, Ramadan is the best month in the year for every Muslim people, so they wait for this month and are preparing for the fast.

Introduction:
Everywhere, in every country you should find a lot of hotels. They can be good or bad, some are cheap and some are expensive, some of them are royalist and luxury and some are simple and normal. In this report, I’m going to write about one of the most luxurious hotels in the world which is “The Ritz-Carlton Hotel”.
Body of the report:
Ritz-Carlton is one of the most famous investment companies in the United State. Due to this fame, in 1927, Edward Wyner, a local Boston real estate developer, was asked by Mayor Curley to build a world-class hotel. He was starting to build a two-storey building, but he decided to change this building to hotel because of the reputation of Ritz in Europe and the cosmopolitan society in Boston.”The Ritz-Carlton, Boston opened on May 19, 1927 with a room rate of $15”( The Ritz-Carlton: About Us: History, (n.d.)). It was like a private club for the rich people. In 1960s, the hotel was very formal and luxurious not just in the building it is also on quality of writing paper on which the guests wrote to the hotel requesting reservations.
Ritz-Carlton has many important events, and these events made the hotel very formal and distinctive. Some of these events were about the dresses.” They made one dress design for all guests, in great part due to the formality of Boston society.”( The Ritz-Carlton: About Us: History,  (n.d.)). In addition, the restaurants there were also very stringent and not allowed women to be there alone in The Café or enter The Ritz Bar until 1970.
With the passage of time and years, Ritz-Carlton Hotel was developing. Musical greats as Benny Goodman and Tommy Dorsey made their songs in the hotel. The most famous plays ware written in the Boston Hotel more than anywhere else. Some of these plays ware “Edelweiss”, “A Streetcar Named Desire” and “Ten Cents a Dance”. It is also maintained its own upholstery and print shops and even had a craftsman in-house whose sole job was to paint the gold stripes on the hotel’s furniture.
Despite the luxuries of the Ritz-Carlton, it is not neglect the customers. Ritz-Carlton Hotel has three major goals which start with customers then the service end with exemplary. It has employees with experience to how to deal with customers and smile in their faces by themselves not because they have to smile, also it provides the train the employees to have good way in service the customer.

Conclusion:
All in all, no business in this world will be successful without facing problems, and Ritz-Carlton is one if these successful business although they faced many problems but they solved them by the good management and good organizing. I hope, when I have my own business will be as Ritz-Carlton and better, why not!

Solar power

In our life, with all these changes, we need for many sources of energy to complete our life as we need. One of these sources is the Solar Power. This source is more important that the others because it is a natural and permanent. Due to importance of this source I’m going to write more about this topic in this report.
Solar power is the change of sunlight into electricity, there are two ways to change the sunlight The first way is directly using photovoltaic (PV), and the second way by using concentrated solar power (CSP). “In concentrated solar power systems they use some tools e.g. lenses or mirrors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam”. (Solar power,  2011). Photovoltaic change light into electric current using the photoelectric effect.
In the past the ancient Egyptians built the houses that stored energy from the sun during the morning and saved energy to use it at the night and benefit from stored energy. In the 3rd century B.C., there was a man called Archimedes he helped Greek soldiers on the war with the Roman by focusing a light on a Roman fleet using mirrors, Archimedes used the mirror to concentrate on the sails and burn it by the energy of the sun so the fleet was destroyed. After this happened, the Roman retreated and the Greek were able to attack the Romans.
The development of solar technology in 1860 with increased fears that the coal soon be scarce, photovoltaic built fastlly in 1970 to 1983 also the decrease in oil price helped the PV to growth rapidly.

“Photovoltaic production growth has averaged 40% per year since 2000 and installed capacity reached 39.8 GW at the end of 2010, As of October 2011, the largest photovoltaic PV power plants in the world are the Sarnia Photovoltaic Power Plant, Montalto di Castro Photovoltaic Power Station Italy, 84.2 MW and Finsterwalde Solar Park Germany, 80.7 MW”. (Solar power –Wikipedia)
Also announced that four new solar power plants capable of providing 7million watts of peak generating capacity (AC) - enough to serve 4,550 average homes - have been connected to the utility's Inland Empire grid, enlarging SCE's community solar network to 15 stations. (Southern California Edison. 2011)
All in all, the Solar Power is very useful and important in our life. It is clean source and not going to be finished in any time. In addition, it is will not require a big budget of money to use it. It is a grace from our God and we should use it carefully in good ways.
